    Free Area versus CD Value

Free area and discharge loss coefficient (CD value) are measurements used to determine the amount of airflow through a louvre. The one often seen is free area, this is due to its simplicity.

Kingfisher offer a custom bar length service for their extruded louvres. Supplied in stock lengths, the BSRIA tested louvres are ideal for both third-party and bespoke fabrication.
