Kingfisher acoustic louvres make sound sense

Kingfisher acoustic louvres make sound sense

In addition to our weather protection, ventilation and screening louvres, Kingfisher is also able to provide acoustic louvres within our product range, which provide permanent ventilation combined with the reduction of airborne sound transmission into or out of buildings.

The louvres are supplied in modules up to 1200mm x 1200mm and in three different depths: 150mm, 270mm and 540mm. The single and double bank systems provide different levels of acoustic attenuation and when paired with our different options for free area (20% or 35%), they can cater for a wide range of end uses.

The acoustic louvres can be used in conjunction with Kingfisher's weather protection louvres to provide a full solution for projects needing acoustic attenuation within an environment where protection from the elements is also essential.

The performance of Kingfisher's acoustic louvres has been independently measured to BS EN ISO 10140 by the Acoustical Investigation & Research Organisation Ltd.
