Kingfisher Delivers Performance And Aesthetics
Building aesthetics can be enhanced and plant performance optimised through solutions from Kingfisher Louvre Systems.
The KW75HPG high performance aluminium louvre system is, says Kingfisher, one of the best-performing single-bank louvre systems on the market.
Purpose-engineered to deliver permanent ventilation and protection from the weather whilst providing interest to the façade, even in the most exposed locations, the KW75HPG louvre combines a high rainwater rejection and airflow rate, rated up to A2. The rating exceeds that of most double bank systems, yet is achieved at a lower cost, and smaller depth of opening in the façade.
The high performance version compliments the core KW (Kingfisher Weather) range. The KW range is available in single or multiple banks, in a choice of Z or S profile, delivering up to 61% free ventilation area between the 45° angled blades. Standard units are manufactured in lengths up to 3m, with longer spans attained by butt-jointing at intermediate mullions. As a result, specifiers are limited only by their imagination as to the shape, size and colour of the finished louvre bank.
Options further include KA acoustic louvres that insulate against sound, KC screening louvres that give an economical means of achieving visual screening without weather protection, KW doorsets to enable access for plant maintenance whilst maintaining the aesthetic line of the façade, and blanked-off panels to provide continuity of appearance where no ventilation is needed.
All Kingfisher louvres are manufactured to order, and supplied in natural mill finish; they can be polyester powder coated to individual RAL to the building's colour palette.
